The new website for APD was the foundation of an overall APD social media platform developed to enhance communications with citizens, businesses and visitors. The new website and social media platform will enable APD to deliver important crime prevention, public safety and major incident information to citizens. Phase one of the overall program was the launch of the APD Twitter page @annatxpolice in May and Phase two was the launch of the APD Facebook page at annatxpolice in early June.
